DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

We have years of experience in identifying and repairing dishwasher malfunctions that cause strange noises to come from the appliance. The reason for the sounds is usually either a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are common malfunctions, customers can depend on us to repair them immediately!

WATER LEAKING

There are usually one of two reasons a dishwasher leaks water. The first reason is that there is an issue with the door closure or latch and the part will need to be replaced. The second issue is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be fixed right after our arrival to your house. We have the replacement parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, Kenmore and popular brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

First, if a dishwasher will not turn on, you need to ensure the appliance is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers tripped. If that’s not the issue, then the problem could be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN OR FILL

Your dishwasher is designed to fill up with water and then drain the water after cleaning the dishes. Your dishwasher will not fill when there is a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher won’t drain if there’s a broken drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

Your dishwasher isn’t much use if dishes are dirty after a cycle. The dishes will sometimes be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have parts to fix dishwasher issues in no time.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for it to both wash and dry dishes. You do not want to have to hand dry dishes and silverware following a cycle. A dishwasher will not dry when there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We can repair or replace all manufacturer parts for the drying functions of all models of dishwashers.

WON’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

In order for your dishwasher to be able to wash dishes, it must be able to dispense detergent or soap inside of the appliance. This can’t happen when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
